ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT (ERKLÄRUNG ZUR BARRIEREFREIHEIT)

1. Statement of Commitment (Verpflichtungserklärung)

Rushour is committed to digital inclusion. We believe that our platform should be accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive abilities, or the technology they use. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our online store, rushour.shop, and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

This statement applies to the website rushour.shop, managed from our headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG).

2. Compliance Status (Stand der Vereinbarkeit)

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for all people.

  • To ensure a seamless shopping experience for all users, we have integrated the following systemic features:

  • Keyboard Navigation: The core purchasing funnel (cart, checkout, product selection) can be navigated using standard keyboard commands without a mouse.

  • Alt-Text for Images: Meaningful visual content includes descriptive text alternatives for screen reading software.

  • Color Contrast: We utilize high-contrast text and background color ratios (incorporating our "Rugged Luxury" aesthetic without sacrificing readability).

  • Scalable Text: Users can scale up the text size via their browser settings without breaking the site layout.

4. Known Limitations and Exceptions (Bekannte Barrieren)

As a highly visual, design-forward apparel brand, our storefront relies heavily on complex imagery. Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of rushour.shop, there may be some limitations:

  • Complex 3D Mockups and Lookbooks: Some highly detailed visual media, specifically rotating 3D models of custom jerseys and ambient video B-roll, may lack comprehensive audio descriptions or perfect screen-reader text alternatives.

  • Third-Party Integrations: Certain external payment gateways or third-party sizing-chart apps may not fully support our strict internal accessibility standards. We are continuously working with our vendors to improve this.

If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing product details or completing a purchase, please use the contact information below.
